Finished products

I love starting projects. Love coming up with new ideas. I’m a dreamer, and I have a hard time finishing projects.

Participating in Paper Cowgirl swaps forced me to become a finisher. And I completed everything and even had time to spare.

The photos above are sneak peeks at those projects. For instance,  the bag with the crown is just the wrapping for the cool altered apron I made.

All that stuff stuffed together?  That’s the inside of the altered box I’m swapping.

The box with the dress form holds a nametag I made from an old horse ribbon.

I even had enough extra time to make a charm bracelet out of the club IDs I showed you yesterday. (This is not a swap project, but I am participating in a charm swap.)

It’s amazing what can be accomplished when you set your mind to it. Now…about those dirty dishes!

Digging

Finally rediscovered my dining room table and promptly covered it again, sorting through a box of pins and medals (and coins and spoons, oh my).

I bought the box without really looking through it. Most of its contents is sports related (even the spoons). And most of it is from Australia.

Can’t wait to throw together a charm necklace or bracelet using some of the sports club membership medals (second and third photos).

Flair

You’ve seen Office Space, right? Maybe you’ve even dabbled in flair trade on Facebook? Well I have 94 pieces like the one above packed and ready to hand out at Paper Cowgirl.

What’s a girl to do with all the shell casings her husband so kindly hands her way? MAKE SOMETHING!

I’m armed all right — soldering iron at the ready. Retreat details to come.

Oh… and all those little specks you see in the photo? That there is glitter, my friends. A cowgirl prefers her bullets full of bling!

The storm before the calm

This table is in my dining room. It’s where my family ate dinner and other meals until last week. Now it’s covered in Paper Cowgirl swap mess.

Three. More. Days.

Then I’m off to art camp, though someone’s saying there will be a truck full of junk there Saturday. Art and junk. I think I like that combination.
