This post should catch you up visually on life in junkology land. The first few photos are from my wee space at Homestead on Blanco. The next few are from a button collection I purchased at Austin city-wide. Then finally some swag from Paper Cowgirl is pictured. That sums up most of the last month. Right now my junking days are few and far between. I’m trying to work through my existing piles o’ junk without breaking a sweat, and I’m failing miserably. In fact, that may be the pool calling my name at this very moment.

A salesman’s sample book of shoe buckles.  Have you ever seen such a glorious thing?! Seventy-two buckles are still in the book. And the price was insanely low. So…do I sell it as is? Use the pieces in my collages?  I have a terrible time letting go of unique things like this. And I have an equally difficult time parting things out. It’s a conundrum, to say the least.

…the mice will play, also known as wreaking havoc. The top photo is a glimpse of what I came home to,  shopwise, after a week away. The bottom photo was taken after a bit of order was restored.

I may never leave town again! Ha. I’ll be hitting the road again in less than two weeks. Who knows? I may return to regular blogging in the interim. After all, word on the street is that my new favorite reader misses me and my tall tales!
